Welcome to
Portsoy Coastal Rowing Club

Based in Portsoy, Aberdeenshire
Rowing out of Portsoy's historic
17th & 18th century harbours

Row ~ Smile ~ Breathe

We are a community based club run by the members for local people. We do have members who live outside of Portsoy. Everyone is welcome!

Our Ethos

The ethos of the club is to learn the craft of rowing, become part of a team and most importantly to have fun! Our team of Coxes offer clear instruction to rowers and are responsible for safety and decision making on rows.

About the Boats

We have two St Ayles Skiffs. The pink 'Soy Quine' was launched on March 2nd 2013. The lime zest green 'Soy Loon' followed on 13th October 2013.

Membership

Membership is annual. After your first couple of rows you will be invited to officially join the club for a small fee.

Joining

Looking for a new challenge and enjoy the outdoors? A warm welcome awaits anyone who thinks they might enjoy learning to row. It's such a friendly club of mixed ages and abilities. You will meet like minded people who will become your friends. We welcome both rowers with experience and beginners (age 14 years old & up). The first two rows are free, just to see if you like it, no obligation at all! If you are thinking of joining or have any questions please message us.

PCRC are members of the Scottish Coastal Rowing Association.
